Article 1 Name
The 1st Universal Chinese Sports, Malaysia.
Article 2 Aims
To advocate the Universal Chinese Sports spirit of Humanity, Nature, Health, and Harmony; to enhance the communications and interactions among the worldwide Chinese; to carry forward the team spirit; to advance the athletic enterprise of the Universal Chinese people; and to promote the harmonious coexistence of mankind.

9.1 Non-professional athletes who have Chinese bloodline;
9.2 Being physically and mentally health and suitable for participating the competition;
9.3 All the non-Chinese friends and sports fanciers are also welcomed.

10.4 Details of the Entries
10.4.1 Deadline of the entries: by noon (12:00), Sep. 15, 2008 (according to the Entry place’s local postmark);
10.4.2 The participants can not add, delete, or change the event(s) participating in after the deadline of the entries;
10.4.3 All the participants shall confirm the entries information through telephone with the Organizing Committee of the sports events;
10.4.4 when remitting the entry fee (including transfer online), all the participants must give clear indication of name, identification type and number, the event(s) participating in and the contact phone number in the postscript column, so that the Organizing Committee can confirm the remittance and make the entry valid;
10.4.5 All the participants must sign the Disclaimer.

(Note: the entry fee can not be returned if the competitor temporarily decides to quit the sports events with own reasons.)
Article 11 Charging Standards
11.1 There are Charging Standard A and Charging Standard B may be chosen; (Standard A includes hotel accommodation, and Standard B does not include hotel accommodation. All the participants can choose either one;
11.2 The concrete charging standards vide the regulations of each respective competition.
Article 12 Registration
12.1 Time: 8:00 - 18:00, Oct. 19, 2008;
12.2 Location: Sunway Lagoon Resort Hotel, Malaysia;
12.3 Conference before the competition: 20:00, Oct. 19 (Sunday), 2008 (the conference location is undetermined)
(Note: all participants shall hand in their ID cards or passports for checking up. Participant who can not provide the ID card or passport shall lose the qualification, and have no right to appeal.)
Article 13 Details of Receiving
13.1 Transportation
13.1.1 All the participants shall be responsible for their transportation expenses by themselves (the Organizing Committee shall help the participants of China to buy the preferential airplane tickets at the request of the participant);
13.1.2 For the participants who book the hotel accommodation through the Organizing Committee (the Standard A takers), the Organizing Committee shall provide the bus service between the hotels and the venues;
13.1.3 The Organizing Committee shall arrange the pickup services at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport. All the participants shall clearly inform the Organizing Committee the journey, the flight number and the arrival time (the pickup service time: 7:00 – 16:00, Oct. 19, 2008).
13.2 Meals
13.2.1 All the participants shall be responsible for their meal expenses by themselves (there are a lot of local characteristic restaurants around the venue);
13.2.2 The details vide the guidebook of the events.
13.3 Accommodation
In principle, the Organizing Committee shall arrange the unified hotel accommodation. The Organizing Committee does not provide the bus service between the hotels and the venues for the participant who arranges accommodation by himself/herself.
13.4 Tour??
13.4.1 Oct. 23 to Oct. 25, a 3-days tour in Malaysia (Malacca, the Genting Highlands and Kuala Lumpur)
13.4.2 Charging: CNY 880 (including 2 nights hotel accommodation, 3 days meals, 3 days transportation services, the guide fees, the entrance tickets and the tips)
13.4.3 The details of the tour shall be informed at the registration spot.
Article 14 Punishments
If any participant does not match the ‘athletes’ qualification’ or any team violates the ‘Regulations on Sports Event of the Universal Chinese Sports’, the competition results will be canceled and the participant or the team will be disqualified.
Article 15 Appeals
15.1 All appealers shall fill in the ‘competition appeal form’ and submit the form to the Arbitration Committee within 30 minutes after the competition. Exceed the deadline, the appeal will be invalid. The arbitration result is the ultimate decision, and no one can object. Each appealer shall hand in an appeal fee of US$ 200.
15.2 The Arbitration Committee is composed of 3 staffs appointed by the host party as well as the chief referee and the director of the event. There shall be no more than 7 people in the Arbitration Committee.
15.3 In the progress of the competition, all team leaders, coaches, managing staffs and athletes can not interpellate the judge or behave impolitely.
15.4 Concerning the athletes’ qualification, the appealer shall fill in a ‘qualification appeal form’, and submit the form to the Arbitration Committee; otherwise the appeal shall not be accepted.
Article 16 VISA
16.1 All the participant going to Malaysia shall have a valid passport (the period of validity must be over half a year);
16.2 The Organizing Committee shall help the participants of Chinese Mainland to apply the VISA at the request of the participants, and the VISA fee and the mailing costs shall be borne by the applicants themselves. The deadline of accepting the VISA service: Sep. 30, 2008.
(Note: please send the original copy of the passport to Beijing Huayun Sports Development Co., Ltd. before the deadline.)
Article 17 Supplementary Articles
17.1 The General Regulations is applicable to each single competition;
17.2 Any change or supplement of the General Regulations shall be informed separately;
17.3 All the participants have the obligation to coordinate with the Organizing Committee’s work and comply with the Organizing Committee’s stipulations and arrangements;
17.4 The ultimate explanation right of the General Regulation is reserved by the Organizing Committee of the 1st Universal Chinese Sports. If there is a dispute, take the Chinese version as the standard.
